Cricket was born in Seattle, Washington and was raised in Charleston, SC and graduated high school from Savannah Christian Preparatory School. She was retired from the Spin City Laundry Mat, where she served as manager and had worked many years with Dairy Queen in Savannah. Mrs. Ford loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, Winston, Zeus and Jinx.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Elmgren (Sarah Lewis) of Ellabell; daughters, Jennifer "Becky" Rodgers of Ellabell and Aundria Elmgren of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Jerry Woodberry and his wife, Betsy of Ocala, Florida and RC Woodberry and his wife, Janet of Bonneau, South Carolina; sister, Janie Wallace and her husband, Larry of Kosciusko, Mississippi; grandchildren, Carla Carver, William Elmgren, Joanne Hemler, Isaiah Elmgren, Christian Rodgers, Ashley Carver, Cameron Lewis, David Elmgren and Lucas Elmgren; great-grandchildren, Zyon Carver, Christopher Hemler, Cassandra Rodgers, Kayleigh Hemler, Shawna Williams and Faith Elmgren.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Jay Williams officiating.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
