I remember visiting Aunt Nita to spend the night with Cathy and Mary. I pulled one of the props that held up those heavy windows. The window dropped and smashed my thumb. Aunt Nita held me all the way to the hospital and stayed with me while they sewed up my busted thumb. Then we went and got ice cream. 😃
Oh and my thumb is flat to this day.
