Marie 'Betty' Robinson

Mrs. Marie "Betty" Robinson, age 93, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Brown's Nursing Home. She was a longtime resident of Bulloch County and a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Mrs. Robinson loved to needle point and was a member of the Cherokee Rose Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Robinson; her daughter, Suzanne Powell; and her sister, Melanie Cox.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Linda Robinson of Statesboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Leon Rabinovitch of Anchorage, Alaska, and Colette and Sarwat Fahmy of Los Gatos, California; one sister, Martha Lorhman of Florida; eight grandchildren, Kim, Cindy, Amir, Mandy, Heather, Danielle, Christy and Chris; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4-6 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
