Nancy Ann Finley, age 74, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 in her residence.
Nancy was born in Sacramento, California to the late Phillip and Lilly Taylor Newton. She had lived many places in the United States, moving with her husband during his military career. Before moving to Brooklet in 2006, Nancy resided in Rincon and Savannah for many years. While in Savannah, she volunteered with the Citizens On Patrol with the Savannah Police Department. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Finley of Brooklet; children, Richard J. Finley and his wife, Rachel of Raleigh, NC; Walter P. Finley and his wife, Holly of Faulkville; Cathleen Cavender of Alaska and Kenneth "Ken" Register of Radcliffe, KY; nine grandchildren.
A private burial will be held in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
