Priscllia Oglesby

Priscilla was a native and life-long resident of Statesboro and Bulloch County and was the daughter of the late Bonnie and Lillie Mae Hendrix Daughtry. She retired from the Cooper-Wiss Corporation with more than 20 years of service and since her retirement, she worked as a caregiver with the elderly. She was a lifetime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Priscilla was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Rahn.

Mrs. Oglesby is survived by her son, Randy Oglesby of Twin City; daughter, Patricia Oglesby Bashlor of Richmond Hill; four grandchildren, Jason Finch of Pooler; Brooks Aaron Bashlor of Statesboro; Conner Oglesby of Twin City and Alex Oglesby of Florida; three great-grandchildren, Jayla, Landon and Macy Finch all of Ellabell; brother, Bonnie Daughtry and his wife, Nita of Statesboro; her companion, Lloyd Smith of Statesboro; and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Oak Grove Baptist Church, immediately followed by the funeral service conducted by Reverend Thomas Hendrix.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lipsey, Dayton Allen, Ellwood Thompson, Brooks Aaron Bashlor, Conner Oglesby, Benji Neese, Colon Campbell, Jr. and Don Taylor.
