Rebecca Thomas

Mrs. Thomas was born in Savannah and lived many years in Cincinnati, OH before moving to Statesboro in 1985. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son, Ernest “Ernie” Mobarry of Statesboro; daughters, Mary Lavon Harris and her husband Donald of Trenton, GA and Alice Michelle Deloach of Dalton, GA; brother, John Webster Thomas of Savannah; sister, Linda Bird or Rincon; 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, December 27 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 27 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Bird officiating.

Burial will be held privately.

Hodges-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
