Tazuru "Ty" Beasley

STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Tazuru "Ty" Beasley, age 87, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2012 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. She was a native of Japan and lived many years in Pennsylvania before moving to Brooklet in 1970. Mrs. Beasley retired from K-mart, enjoyed crafts and was a resident of Southern Manor Retirement Inn for the past year. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Beasley.

Survivors include her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brannen and Jean Beasley of Brooklet; a niece and several nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The graveside service and burial will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 3:00 P.M.. at Lane's Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Lee Chambers officiating.

Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
