Willa Miller

Mrs. Miller was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Susie Floyd NeSmith. She served as an administrative assistant for the John Deere Tractor Company, Life of Georgia Insurance Company, Bulloch County Bank and several other local businesses. She was a member of Pembroke Baptist Church. She also loved to cook, crochet and fish and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her pet dogs.

Willa was preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Homer F. Miller of Statesboro; sons, James Robert (Bob) Miller and Ernest Wayne Miller and his wife, Mary all of Statesboro; grandchildren, Sean Miller and his wife, Morgan of Statesboro; Justin Miller and Ashlee Miller both of Brooklet; many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, November 27th in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home, immediately followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Patrick McElveen officiating.

The burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sean Miller, Justin Miller, Trey Brisendine, Buddy Oglesby, Sammy Oglesby, Matt Rowe.
