

Mr. Willard H. Fell, age 92, died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. He was a native of Swedesboro, NJ and lived many years in Wenonah, NJ before moving to Statesboro in 1987. Mr. Fell retired from Texaco and also spent some time farming and as a carpenter. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, and watching baseball. Mr. Fell was a member of the Statesboro First United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Dan Williams Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Gweneth J. Fell of Statesboro; two sons, Willard H. (Susan) Fell, Jr. of Darien, Ga., and Rev. Kenneth R. (Dyan E.) Fell of Germantown, MD; one daughter, Karen Ann Fell of Statesboro; five grandchildren, Daniel Fell, Tiffany Fell, Bryan Tisinger, Sarah Fell, and David Fell; one great grandchild, Aidan Fell; one sister, Mabel Gaventa of Repaupo, NJ; and one brother, Harry Fell of Bridgeport, NJ.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Cason officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Dan Williams Sunday School Class.
Entombment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
