Allen Everett Bustle

Born June 4, 1926 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Joseph Bachman Bustle and Mamie Lessie Forsyth Bustle.

Mr. Bustle retired from Fiber Industries and later worked at Mitchell Community College – Continuing Education Building as a security guard; served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

He enjoyed gardening, working outdoors and being with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sybil Marie Neaves; sisters, Mary Lou Brown and Greta Marie Bustle, and son-in-law, Randy Tyson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Sue Sherrill Bustle, of the home; son, Jonathan Bustle of Katonah, NY; daughter, Sybil Tyson of Toccoa, GA; brothers, Grier Bustle and Samuel “Louis” Bustle, both of Statesville; grandchildren, Miranda Neaves, Christopher Allen Neaves, Timothy Bustle, Joshua Tyson and Jerry Tyson and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM.

The funeral service honoring Mr. Bustle’s life will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
