Andy Scott Flitcroft

Born in Watertown, New York on July 7, 1970, he was the son of the late Michael Harley Flitcroft and Tanna Mary Wilder, who survives.

In addition to his father, Andy was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Michael Flitcroft.

Andy was known as a free spirited man, who loved life. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was an uplifting and encouraging man. Andy loved the beach, singing, writing songs, playing his guitar and electronics.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and uncle.

Andy was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, popularly known as Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Astrophysics. He spent years in the restaurant industry as well as other interest.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, Tanna, are his wife, Candi Plantz Flitcroft; one son, Caden Jeffrey Flitcroft; two daughters, Alyssa Jane Flitcroft and Cloe Jade Flitcroft; his brother and sister-in-law, Craig Anthony Flitcroft and Christine; step-father, Ronald Parker; special friend, Cindy Carter and family; extended family members, and many friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society c/o 810 Fairgrove Church Road Hickory, NC 28602 or to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
