
She was born May 10, 1926, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Bruce Austin and Lena Mae Day Waugh. She was a life-long member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was a devoted and faithful homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and was a great cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on April 4, 2010, by her husband, Robert Watt Morrison; a son-in-law, John Stephen Webb; a grandson, Scott Webb; a sister, Dorothy Jordan; and two brothers, William E. Waugh and Thomas A. Waugh.
She is survived by two daughters, Bobbi (John H.) Fox and Pat Webb, both of Statesville; four grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Webb of Taylorsville, Kellie (Russell) Thompson of Troutman, Carey Fox of Statesville, and Brian (Shelly) Fox of Davidson; a granddaughter-in-law, Angie Webb of Statesville, NC; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary (Paul) Reavis of Statesville.
Graveside service celebrating Annie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Cowles Bristol officiating.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service and at other times will gather at the home of the daughter, Pat Webb.
