Barbara Alyn King Kusick, 94, was born June 2, 1932, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, and died July 25, 2026. She was a resident of Statesville, North Carolina.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Alan Kusick (Monique) of Statesville, North Carolina; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael Kusick (Anita) of Deland, Florida; her grandsons, Grant Kusick of Madison, Wisconsin, Michael Varis (Amanda) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Daniel Varis of Statesville, North Carolina; and her great-grandson, R.J. Varis of Charlotte, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Iredell County Animal Services, 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, North Carolina 28677.
