Betty Weatherman Hartline

Mrs. Betty Weatherman Hartline, 78 of 522 Briar Cliff Apts, Statesville, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born in Iredell County on July 25, 1932, daughter of the late Walter Earnest and Addie Privette Weatherman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters; Sherry Elaine Weatherman and Willa Dean Gettys.

Betty was a hairdresser and is survived by a daughter Sandra Elaine H. Duteau of N. Augusta, SC; grandchildren Mary Lytton Wright of Augusta, GA and William Garrett Wright of Marietta, GA, brothers; Ronald Weatherman (Nan), Allen Weatherman (Jeanie), James Weatherman (Garnell) and Jerry Weatherman all of Statesville.

Services celebrating Betty’s life will be held on Wednesday at 3 pm in the Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Mike Carr officiating. Burial is to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers will be; Matt Weatherman, David Weatherman, Chris Weatherman, Kelly Weatherman, Gettys Weatherman and Bern Lytton.
