
Mrs. Betty Lou Haynes England, 65, of 120 McAllister Rd. Statesville, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born in Iredell County on May 24, 1948, she was a daughter of the late William Roy Haynes and Mary Lou Hamby Haynes. She was a member of the Living Water Assembly Of God where she served in the choir and taught Sunday school. She worked at the J. C. Penny Warehouse and later at C & C Trucking in payroll.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Donald England, a son, Christopher Randall England and his wife, Lesley of High Point, two grandchildren, Sarah and Bryce England, a sister, Mrs. Linda Cornett of Statesville and a nephew, Creighton Cornett and his wife, Adrianne of Asheville.
Services celebrating Mrs. England's life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Living Water Assembly Of God with Rev. Don Hawkins and Rev. Katie Whitcomb officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. At other times the family will be assembled at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Linda Cornett at 120 Ginny Lane, Statesville.
