Billy Ralph Holmes Sr.

He was a member of St Peter’s World Outreach in Winston-Salem, NC, and worked as a full time farmer.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Holmes; and his brothers, Robert Holmes, and Ronnie Holmes.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Priscilla Steele Holmes; son, Billy Ralph Holmes, Jr. (Tonitia) of Hickory; daughters, Nartarshia Walker (Louis) of Hickory, and Kitiara Hurt (Steven) of Harmony; eight grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Holmes will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Ardeal Roseboro officiating.

The family will host a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, September 8, 2024 on the family farm at 329 Kimmon Road, in Harmony beginning at 2:30 p.m.
