Claire Eleanor Foster (Cartner), 87 years old, of Hainesport, NJ passed away on April 7, 2016 in Mt. Holly, NJ. Born and raised in Harmony, NC to the late William Ray Cartner and Nellie (Jones) Cartner. Mrs. Foster has been a long-time resident of New Jersey. She retired as the Head Clerk for the Engineer’s Office for Burlington County, NJ. Claire is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, James H. Foster; her son, James Robert Foster and his wife Lisa; her brother, Kenneth P. Cartner; her sisters, Bobbie Jo Sees and her husband John and Tommye Campbell and her husband Henry; her grandsons, Clayton Robert Foster and Bryce Boyd Foster and several nieces and nephews. All services for Mrs. Foster were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brenner Children’s Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157 in Claire’s memory.
