The daughter of the late Alexander Mendaloff, Jr. and Pauline Josey Mendaloff, Cynthia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She found joy in the simple things that made a house feel like home. She loved cooking and baking, often sharing the warmth and comfort of her kitchen with the people she cared about.
Cynthia also enjoyed gardening, sewing, and playing cards. Whether she was tending to her garden, creating something with her hands, baking something special or sitting around the table playing cards, she had a way of turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. She loved her constant companion, Prissy.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Benton Pryzasnyski and her step-mother, Frances Miller Mendaloff.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Benton Mendaloff and Terrance Benton (Cassey); her beloved grandchildren, Olivia Benton, Kaden Przasnyski, Chesney Benton, Cole Przasnyski, and Gemma Benton. She is also survived by her siblings, Alexis Mendaloff Sensabaugh (Charles), Alexander Mendaloff, III, and Bonnie Cline.
Cynthia leaves behind a lifetime of love, memories, family traditions, and the many small acts of kindness that made her special. Her love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, siblings, and those that knew her. She will be remembered and greatly missed.
A private memorial will be held by the family and, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials or donations or your volunteer services be made to an animal shelter of your choice in Cynthia's memory.
