Deborah "Debbie" Carolyn Campbell

She was born April 7, 1954, in Yadkin County and was the daughter of Patty Shore Brotherton and the late Hubert Pinnix. She received her GED from Mitchell Community College and graduated from Cosmetology School. She was of the Baptist faith and was a licensed beautician. Prior to her disability retirement, she worked for Statesville Auto Auction.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Campbell, on November 4, 2011.

She is survived by her mother, Patty S. Brotherton of Statesville; three sisters, Wytonna Bost (Sonny) and Crystal Gibson (Brian), both of Statesville, and Donna Ayers (Keith) of Troutman; two brothers, Johnny Shew (Karon) of Jonesville and James Brotherton of Statesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating Debbie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Parks, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Robert Bost, Brian Thomas, Ricky Thomas, James Brotherton, Tim Lippard, and Travis Martin.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM tonight (Wednesday) at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
