Duane and I had a very special relationship there for a long time. I loved being there with him and helping him with MacKenzie.  We had some great times and I loved how close McKenzie and I grew together.  
Duane was there for me at a very hard time in my life. We always could talk to each other. I'm going to miss him very much. He loved his family so much and MacKenzie was his world. I hope she will continue to make her daddy proud and continue to being apart of my life. I'm here for you anytime.

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to Duane's family and to all who loved Duane. He was certainly one-of-kind, one of God's special creations.  You always knew that a day or any time spent with Duane was going to be a special and fun time, no matter what you were going to do.  Sharing a meal with Duane was going to be an event, not just a boring meal!   I  can just picture him now, ordering  food for everyone in heaven at the dinner table! We all loved Duane, and will always keep him close to our hearts forever!

Duane you were such a good person. Meeting you while working at  US Air was such a blessing. We had so many great times together. My heart is so heavy hearing about your passing. You came to my mind last week and I didn’t even know that you was sick. I can’t help but to think that you was thinking about me. I cherish the memories that we had together. I will miss you. I am just shocked and saddened to hear the news of Duane's passing.  I was a neighbor of the Marlowes and friends with Dean and Duane.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

I can’t think of much else except how much my cousin who I grew up with is hurting right now.  My heart breaks for her and Dean and all of Duane’s family, friends, and loved ones. I wish I could have spent more time with Duane after he grew up. I remember holding him as a baby and watching him grow up as a little boy. Only God knows why he had to leave so soon. My condolences to the Marlowe family and Courtney. Duane and I worked together at Piedmont and USAir in the freight department. Duane was one of a kind he would give you his shirt off his back if you needed it. Duane would call me when he and Courtney would come to the beach and we talked about meeting up but we never did and I’m so sorry that we didn’t.  RIP Duane gone to soon!
