Edgar James Simpson, age 81 passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Edgar was born July 20, 1938.

A lie in state for Edgar will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Willow Creek Baptist Church, Union Grove, North Carolina. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM, Union Grove, North Carolina. A burial will occur Friday, October 11, 2019 at Willow Creek Community Cemetery, Union Grove, North Carolina.

Serving as pallbearers are Ronald Simpson, Jake Simpson, Jerry Simpson, Marcus Alexander, Elliott Thomas and Dale Souther.
