Mr. Edward Joseph Ipsen, 92, a resident of Iowa City, Iowa and a winter resident of The Gardens in Statesville, died Saturday March 26th at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He is survived by five daughters, including Mrs. Bernadine Tompkins of Troutman. Services will be held later this week in Iowa City through Lensing Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the church or charity of the donor's choice. Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home is serving the family locally.
