Mr. Ernest "Skip" Marlon Wyke, 58, died June 24, 2012 at Gordon Hospice House. He was born October 24, 1953 and was the son of the late Joseph LeRoy Wyke and June Cain Wyke, who survives. He was a commercial Truck Driver and had served in the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Amber Marie Wyke and her finance' Jeremy Smith, one grandson, Shane Allen Smith, one step son, Steven Millaway and one sister, Jean Galena.
Memorial services celebrating his life will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Military honors will be accorded at the service by the Iredell County Veterans Council, Burial Detail. Interment will follow at a later date.
