Esperanza Salazar, 25 years old of Statesville, passed away on April 12, 2017 peacefully surrounded by her family. Esperanza is survived by her husband, Ambrosio Duarte Saucedo; her parents Mario Salazar and Esperanza Garcia Salazar; her daughters, Lesly Isabella Duarte Salazar and Esperanza Yaneli Duarte Salazar; her brothers, Jose, Salomon and Mario Salazar; her sisters, Vicenta, Teresa and Mariana Salazar and a large extended family which loves her deeply.
Visiting hours will be held today from 4-7pm at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, 705 Davie Ave., Statesville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 10am at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Statesville with the burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
