I was sad to learn that Eunice had passed. I had heard about the wonderful work she was doing and sought her help last summer to survey Latino families regarding how we might provide better access to our educational programs. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get the information I needed. Eunice made time for me even as she was busy getting ready to make a trip out of the country. She will definitely be missed. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Our community will really miss this vibrant servant of the Lord. She was so full of love for her family and her community and church. She has blest so many from the Hispanic community with resources to help their adjustment to this area and country. The city of Statesville even gave her credit for her work as it was a deciding factor in the city receiving a national community award. She has personally touched thousands locally as well as throughout the region. Her daughters made her so proud. I feel such a hole in my heart at the news of her passing. I need your touch, Lord, as well as her family and friends at this time. In Jesus name, Amen.
