

Mr. Floyd Edwin (Ed) Hutchcraft, 58, of 3510 Rose St. Statesville, died Sunday, May 16th at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born in Flynt, Michigan on September 10, 1951, he was a son of Floyd Hutchcraft and Ella Green Hutchcraft, both of whom survive and are of Sedgewickville, Missouri. Ed was a truck driver for K & A Transport and enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping and all of his friends. Ed served in the U. S. Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Mark Hutchcraft.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Suzanne Sherrill, a son, Riley Stephen Hutchcraft and a daughter, Desirae Marie Hutchcraft both of Statesville.
Services celebrating Ed's life will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Miller officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. At other times, the family will be assembled at the home at 3510 Rose St.
