Frank was born in Huntington Station, New York on January 5, 1929 to the late Romeo Bollero and Anna Cioffi Bollero. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Fran Hubbs.
Frank spent his career as an electrical engineer for Grumman Aerospace Corp for 29 years in NY. After moving to NC, he became a very active and longtime member of St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church. He started St. Phillip’s Food Closet, was a member of Knights of Columbus, and volunteered for many church and community organizations.
In his free time, he enjoyed watercolor painting and was a part of the arts community. He also enjoyed hunting and participated in numerous activities at the YMCA and Iredell Senior Center. Frank put his heart into everything he did and will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 30 years, Audrey Bollero; sister, Ann “Lou” DeRiso; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Father Kessler officiating.
A committal service will immediately follow the service at Iredell Memorial Gardens at the mausoleum.
