George Keith Cockerham, age 68, of Statesville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in Taylorsville. He was born on February 23, 1956, in La Plata, Maryland, to George Lindsey Cockerham and Mary Pipes Cockerham.
George drove a truck for his entire life and worked for many years for Jerry Sparks in Union Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Cockerham.
George is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Keith Blake Cockerham and Nora Cockerham; nine grandchildren, including Joseph Clayton Thornton III and Breanna Lynn Blake; sister Elaine Funkhouser; and nieces, Dawn Marie Funkhouser, Sarah Lesley Shasho and Lindsay Beth Funkhouser.
