

He was born December 18, 1931, in South Bend, Indiana, and was a son of the late Joseph Myszak and Estella Talentowski.
He was retired from a career in manufactured homes and enjoyed golf, riding around the neighborhood visiting neighbors, boating, traveling and was a people person.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Leigh Anne Myszak.
On July 12, 2008, he married the former Lynn Grabke who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Mark Myszak of Florida, George Robert Myszak II of Harmony; and three daughters, Lorrie Winship (Lawrence), Lynn Delisle and Nevada McNeeley (Paul) all of Florida; two step-daughters, Khristy Humphrey Johnson (Ernie) of Statesville and Tracey Lehman (Jason) of Georgia; two brothers, John and Joe Myszak, both of Indiana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Schatzi.
Services celebrating George's life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 17, 2013, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Susan Bame officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens with full military rites presented by the Iredell County Veterans Council Burial Detail. Pallbearers will be Daniel Winship, Hunter Ivey, Jim Morton, Andy Sigmon, Phil Taylor, Jay Johnson, Darryl McMillan and Allen McKinney.
The family will be assembled at the residence and will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home
