Born in Rutherford County on November 10, 1930, she was a daughter of the late William Bradley and Dorcas Leola Bridges Bradley. She was blessed to have many older siblings and a twin brother. They were: Robert, Cloyd, Carl, Sadie Davis and Willie Mae Sanders, and her twin brother, Gerald, all deceased and her only surviving sibling is a sister, Tewie Melton of Bostic, N.C. "Nana" was a longtime active member of Front Street Baptist Church. She was employed for more than 25 years at Burlington Mills. She was a sweet and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, whose quiet and gentle nature instilled perserverence and togetherness in her family. She created many special memories for her family, including an annual New Year's Eve sleepover and an Easter Egg Hunt, that could occur at any time, for her grandchildren. She taught her daughters courage, strength and loving kindness, and she modeled all that is tender in a mother. She had a tenacious fondness for her dogs, and even until her final days, kept a special place in her heart for Coco. Her laugh and her love will be deeply missed.
In addition to her named siblings, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Gilmer Joseph Freeman, her second husband, Mr. Harold B. Little, and a grandson, Joshua Bradley Ervin.
