

Born October 18, 1979, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ivey Winters and Cindy (Paul) Thomas, who survive.
Heather graduated from West Iredell High School and worked for the Iredell-Statesville Schools as a substitute teacher. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, where she was very active.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping with Karileigh, working with children, photography. Her favorite times of the year was always the holidays. Heather was always willing to help others when the need arose.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Carrie England; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Carolyn Winters, Sanford Thompson; great-grandparents, Roy and Ellen Cloer, Ivey and Freda Moore, Cecil and Carrie Miller and her infant sister, Cynthia Nicole Winters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald L. Munday, whom she married on September, 28, 2002 and daughter, Karileigh Nicole Munday, both of the home; parents, Cindy and Paul Thomas; sisters, Amanda W. Pitts (Chris), Stacie W. Shoffner (Leonard), Tracie Thomas, and Mikayla Thomas; brothers, Robert Winters, Jr. and Tyler Thomas; grandfather, Jack England; step-children, Jessica Hinkle, Joe Munday (Jennifer), James Munday, Janna Munday; step-grandchildren, James Munday, Rachel Hinkle, Adam Hinkle, Jr and Joe Munday, Jr.; nephew, Lucas Shoffner; special aunt, Lisa Turner (Wayne); special cousins, Kris England, Nick Turner, and Lacy Turner; and special friends, Janette Gryder, Hoke Crider and Crystal Patterson Kennedy (Jeff).
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. James Keever and Rev. Bobby Eades officiating. Heather will be laid to rest at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
