Heather Lynn Riley, 52, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, in Statesville, North Carolina. Born on August 12, 1974, in Anchorage, Alaska, Heather was the daughter of the late James Douglas Riley and Rachel Ann Parker Riley.
Heather found happiness in making arts and crafts and painting and drawing. She enjoyed working on puzzles, watching TV, and shopping at Hobby Lobby. Heather also loved going out to eat, and eating her favorite foods, cheesecake and cottage cheese.
Heather is survived by her mother, Rachel Ann Parker Riley; and her sister, Crystal Chase (Mark). She was preceded in death by her father, James Douglas Riley.
A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Troutman officiating.
