Ila Viretta Beck

Born April 8, 1912 in Davie County, she was the daughter to the late Charles and Fereabee Cleary Beck. Ila played numerous instruments throughout her life and was an accomplished seamstress who could make anything. Ila's family was part of the founding of Liberty Wesleyan Church where she was a lifelong member. She was an avid church believer and the pianist for most of her adult life.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother and two sisters.

She leaves behind a large loving family of nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2pm at Liberty Wesleyan Church with Pastor Harold Bumbee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Ila will lie in state from 1:30-2 pm at the church.
