Jane, who was married to John F. Harris for 58 years, is to be buried in the L.C. Caldwell plot at Oakwood Cemetery. L.C. Caldwell, long-time mayor of Statesville, NC, was John’s great grandfather.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, one daughter, Kimberly D. Harris, of Gainesville, FL, and a sister, Claire Robinson of Lake Park, FL.
The funeral service will be held at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home chapel, 705 Davie Ave. in Statesville, on Saturday, April 30 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or your local Hospice.
