Julian Lawrence Sisk

Julian Lawrence Sisk, 61, of Statesville, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born on October 23, 1953 in Iredell County to the late Ralph McKinley Sisk and Alma Cash Sisk. He is survived by his brother, Nathan Sisk of Statesville.

He was a graduate of Statesville High School and Mitchell Community College and he also attended UNC Chapel Hill. He was a Green Beret in the United States Army from 1972-1975, and was self-employed in the construction industry.

Julian was an avid outdoorsman, an Eagle Scout, a member of the Masonic Lodge #690 (Past Master), a member of the VFW and of the Special Forces Association, and also a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

A graveside service will held at Oakwood Cemetery on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Brad Mullis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Trinity Episcopal Church 801 Henkel Road Statesville, NC 28677.
