Lillie Ruth Booth

Mrs. Lillie Ruth Booth, 95, of 250 Seed House Rd., Statesville, died Thursday March 25th at Autumn Care of Statesville. She was born February 18, 1915 in Texas and was a daughter of the late Thomas Bruce and Hattie Page Bruce. She was a clerk and bookkeeper at J.C.Penney and was married to Walter Loyd Booth who died in 1982. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness faith.

Lillie was also preceded in death by her daughters, Lorene Manske, Betty W. Angelini, Colleen Hager, Velma and Bernice Booth, along with a grandson, Herk Gore.

She is survived by grandchildren: Cynthia Lynn Adler, Mark Angelini, Tom Angelini, Anne Jones, Billy Manske, Debbie Stroud and Lee Dufur, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Services celebrating her life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Micheal Sabo officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
