Lorene Beckham Tilley, 91, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Gordon Hospice House. A native of Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Pearlie Bowles Beckham. She was a member of Hams Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Alfred Tilley, and by eight brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Tilley is survived by her daughters, Terri Creedmore and Renee Mayberry, both of Statesville, and by her grandchildren, Amanda and Brooke Creedmore.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Tilley will be held at Hams Grove Baptist Church at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2019 with Pastor James Bumgarner officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services. Memorials may be made to Hams Grove Baptist Church; 202 Hams Grove Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
