Louis Dwight White

Mr. Louis Dwight White, 76, of Statesville, NC, died on July 12, 2025 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. A native of Iredell County, NC, he was the son of the late Forest and Lillie Viola Virginia Chambers White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Eugene White. Louis attended Chestnut Grove Elementary School and Unity High School. At a very young age, he attended Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. He was employed in the textile industry for most of his working career.

Mr. White is survived by his sisters, Brenda Lorinda Dalton (William) of Hamptonville, NC, Judy White of Harmony, and Shelia White (fiancé James Simon) of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by a special cousin, Peggy Summers (Charles) of Statesville, NC, nieces and nephew, Erica White, Marquis White, Nakeysha Ellison, Jaketa Mauney (James), Shaketa White and a host of Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.

The family will receive friends at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home at 11:30 AM with Pastors Dale Gibson and Robert Ramseur officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church.
