Louise Nicholson James Deal

Mrs. Louise Nicholson James Deal, 85, of 22216 Country Club Circle, Cornelius, died Monday August 6, 2012 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Born in Iredell County on November 14, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Fred Nicholson and Minnie Belle James Nicholson. On October 28, 1944, she married Mr. Vance Robert Deal who survives. Mrs. Deal was a member of Cornelius First Baptist Church. She loved working in her yard, loved flowers, taught preschool Sunday School, was a former WMU member and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the light of the family and was key in establishing Ideal Tool and Die Company.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jerry Deal and his wife, Judith of Davidson and Bob Deal and his wife, Judy of Huntersville, five grandchildren: Amy Collins, Tracy Deal, Margaret Matchen, Jim Deal and Michael Deal, along with seven great grandchildren and another great grandchild soon to be born.

Services celebrating Mrs. Deal's life will be conducted at 11:00 Friday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Head officiating. Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. Thursday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
