Manetta Holler Reid

Born in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Wilburn Holler and Nellie Carscadden Holler.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George Coleman Reid; son, Lewis Clark Reid and three brothers, Tate Holler, James Holler and Wilburn Holler, Jr.

Mrs. Reid worked as a Register Nurse with Davis Hospital for over 50 years and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathie S. Jones of Claremont, NC; four grandchildren, Cory Reid, Nikki Witherspoon, Heather Kohnen and Shannon Dickerson; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Jerry C. Holler of Florida.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home with burial following at New Sterling ARP Church Cemetery.
