Garland, Tanya and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mamaw Margaret was one of a kind and she will be missed. I enjoyed taking her lunch and spending Sundays with her. She would tell the nurses at the hospital that I was her daughter and she made me feel like it too. One time, she told me she would be my mom since I didn't have my mom and I deeply loved her for that. One thing is for sure, she will never 'be hungry' in Heaven. Always in our hearts - Love, Joy

To My Beloved Mother,

It's been several days since God called you home and it is still very hard to believe you're gone. Everyone has gathered to say their goodbye and to honor you. You are incredibly special to everyone who's ever met you. You are one-of-a-kind and we all miss you!

I know that you are happy now and I can only imagine how the angles rejoiced when you walked through those Pearly Gates; free of all the pain and afflictions you had here with us. You are able to take a breath without restriction and able to see clearly your joyous reunion with grandma and grandpa and my beloved father. Please enjoy them and don't be sad for us. You were an angel long before today!

You gave everything you had and more to make me as happy as possible: and now it is finally your turn. Your sacrifices did not go unnoticed. Your love is forever appreciated and valued more than you may ever know. I know your reward is eternal happiness with those you cared so much for.

Mom, the greatest reward in my life is was having you as my mother. Nothing in the world could ever replace one second of the time I was lucky enough to spend with you. Even though the last several days blessed, it was my honor to be with you until God made his discussion to bring you home.

I can never forget spending the nights back at home with you, watching your western channels and getting you your favorite hamburger. When I was young, I can see you working around the house and ceaselessly tending to your animals and to your plants and flowers in the front yard. I know how much you enjoyed and loved them.

You always had time for me and you never pushed me away. You held me and hugged me saying, "You're a good boy." You patched up my skinned knees, bumps and scrapes and provided me the discipline I needed to develop me into the man I am today.

You cooked for me and cleaned up after my messes without a thank you. You laughed with me when I was happy and hugged me so warmly when I was sad. You always told me, "everything will be alright."

I close my eyes and I see a beautiful blond haired woman in a summer dress standing by my father and holding a cup of coffee. and enjoying a sausage biscuit for breakfast.

God had a special plan for you, Mom. He knew that Heaven couldn't ever really be Heaven without you. I don't know why He waited so long to call you home, but I'm so thankful that He did.

I love you and cherish you with all my heart. I see you in the sunshine and I feel your presence in every warm breeze of the day. Thank you for making my life so special!

Please enjoy your eternal time with your beloved mother, father. husband, and brother.

I love you Mom and until I see you again................Your loving son,

Garland
