I worked with Martha at Troutman Middle. She was an excellent teacher, loved by her students and by the staff.
However, what I will remember most about Martha was her friendship to me. She was kind, thoughtful, and giving. I think back fondly of all the lunches and suppers she, Millie Foster, and I shared and the fun we had. I am sad, just knowing she is gone.

To Joe, Joey, and Melanie, my deepest sympathy and condolences. May you find comfort in knowing that she was loved by so many. To Martha, my friend, I will miss you, but never forget you.

I was fortunate to work with Martha at Troutman Middle School many years ago. I saw her dedication to her profession and her students every day. She wanted her students to do their best and worked hard to give them the tools they needed to be successful. She was a lady I admired. My condolences to her family.

Joe, Melanie and Joey, I am so sorry for your loss.
Martha was more than just a co-worker, she was an encourager, mentor, inspiration, and true friend. She helped me in so many ways when we were teammates at TMS, and her friendship didn't end when she retired.
I will forever cherish the memories I have of our time together.
