Mary Eveline Byrd Jolly

She was born in on January 16, 1923, in Wilkes County and was a daughter of the late Barney G. and Minnie Jolly Byrd. She was retired from Hunter Brothers Manufacturing Company and was a member of First Wesleyan Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Jolly Sr.

Survivors include a son, David R. Jolly Jr., of Statesville; a grandson, Eric David Jolly, of Statesville; a brother, Glenn Byrd, of Conover; and a sister, Jennie Brown, of Statesville.

Services celebrating Mrs. Jolly's life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, with the Revs. B.N. Black and Harold King officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Rayford Myers, L.P. Dishmond, Tim Reid, Dennis Byrd, Jeff Tucker and Chad Burgin.
