Michelle Smyth Overcash

She was born on April 1st, 1959, to Donald Smyth and Barbara Smyth of Warren, Ohio. She traveled many times in her youth and graduated from North Iredell High School.

Michelle devoted her life to helping others, touched many lives through her career in Human Resources, and was a beautiful wife, mother, sister, friend, Mimi, aunt, and cousin.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eric Overcash, children; Travis Connolly (Debra), Christopher Connolly (Katie), and Danielle Fried (Brandon), mother-in-law, Ruby Overcash; siblings; Douglas Smyth, Deanna Williams (Rick), and Duane Smyth (Kim), her beloved grandchildren; Easton, Adison, Timmy, Alana, Deanna, Miguel, and Lyn, best friend; Jane Hill, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, many friends, and relatives.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25th, 2022, at Bunch Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville, NC, from 4pm to 7 pm.

The family wishes to thank all nurses and doctors who cared for her; as well as everyone who has shown kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
