Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John Henry Pope.
Phillip is survived by his sister, Lelia Pearl Pope, niece, Sherry Pope Boggs (Robert), great niece, Ashley Lauren Boggs, and many cousins.
Phillip graduated from Celeste Henkel High School and then served the the US Army. Phillip was a retired truck driver and farmer, and he enjoyed raising and watching Brangus Cattle.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Iredell County for helping them through this difficult time.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, starting at 11 am, at New Sterling ARP Church Cemetery in Stony Point, N.C., with Dr. Earl Linderman officiating.
