Richard Bradley "Brad" Shaver

Brad was born in Statesville on Jaunary 19, 1965 and was the oldest son of Richard W. "Jimbo" Shaver and Patricia (Pat) Mayberry Martin. Brad was a devoted father and proud of his son, Joshua Burton (Josh) Shaver. He was employed in the family business, Shaver Wood Products, where he specialized as a millright and planer manager along with many other duties.

Brad was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Madison Leigh Shaver, his paternal grandparents, Hugh Burton and Grace Shook Shaver and his maternal grandparents, Ralph Leon and Josie Mae Mayberry.

Brad is survived by his son, Josh, a brother Wilson Chad Shaver, his parents, Richard (Jimbo) Shaver and his step mother, Judy N. Shaver, and his mother Patricia (Pat) Mayberry Martin and step father, Richard (Dick) Martin.

Brad will be missed by his many friends and employees of Shaver Wood Products and Lil Shavers Building Supply.

Services celebrating Brad's life will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Front Street Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Miller and Rev. Wes Muntz officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. this evening (Tuesday) at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
