Robert Scott Webb

He was born June 10, 1969, in Statesville and was the son of John Stephen “Steve” and Patricia “Pat” Morrison Webb. He was a 1987 graduate of North Iredell High School, a graduate of East Carolina University, and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and as a people-person, he never met a stranger.

Scott is survived by his wife, Angie Mills Webb, whom he married on June 3, 2000; three children, Logan Webb, Sydney Webb and Connor Webb, all of the home; his parents, Steve and Pat Webb of Statesville; a brother, Michael Webb (Amy) of Taylorsville; and maternal grandmother, Lucille Morrison of Statesville.

Services celebrating Scott’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2012, at New Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Gaye officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Michael Webb, Brian Fox, Carey Fox, Dale Fox, Mark Luckey, and Russell Thompson will serve as active pallbearers and Chris Davis and Dale Webb will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service, and at other times will be assembled at the home of his parents, 1104 Mocksville Highway, Statesville.
