Sylvia Warren Moore

Sylvia was born in Statesville, North Carolina to the late James Charlie Warren and the late Ellen Holthouser Warren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Bowman Moore, with whom she spent almost 50 years in marriage. Together they owned Moore’s Cabinet Shop, Inc. in Huntersville. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James C Warren, Jr. of Aiken, SC.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Elaine Rumple of Statesville.

Also surviving are her four daughters, Susan Moretz, Karen Lewis (Greg), Elaine Moore (Mark Brown), and Brenda Naramore (Tim).

Sylvia was a loving grandmother to Megan Watkins, Jordan Moretz, Paige Crist, Brandon Moretz, Cameron Naramore, Cassidy Naramore, Matthew Bowers and Josh Bowers. Great-grandchildren that are left to cherish her memories are James, Ruby, Holton and Conrad Watkins, Kennedy and Berkley Crist and Kyler Bowers.

Sylvia was a member of Mountain Island Church of Christ. She has passed her love for sewing, gardening and cooking to all generations of her family.

A private graveside service will be held.
