I began work at Burlington when I was 18 years old. I worked with Tonya's mom (Kathy), for years. I went to LanTex and worked with Tonya. Tonya and I hit it off from the get go. Tonya was full of life, spunky, feisty, very out spoken. We had so much fun together. We stayed in contact all these years. I mostly spoke with her on Facebook. Our recent conversation was about starting a business together for a retirement home for 55 and older, named Serendipity. She was very helpful with important information. Tonya was speaking to me on the conservative side, my heads were in the clouds, and she would bring me back down to earth about the cost. I would go see her when she first started at RHA. She loved taking care of her clients. They were her family and she was great at it, with all her compassion and knowledge on how to handle a stressful situation. I loved her attitude, spunk, her get up and go, and of course her beliefs. Tonya was the strongest women I knew. Tonya's Biggest, Brightest, Joy is her daughter Tyra. She would go on for hours talking about her daughter and how much she loved her and trying to make sure Tyra had the best life. I am going to miss her greatly. She will forever be in my heart. I love you Tonya. May you rest in peace. Till we meet again.
