Wayne Victor Paturel

He was born March 21, 1941, in Lewiston, Maine, and was the son of Paul Paturel and the late Louise Dyer Paturel. He was a member o Western Avenue Baptist Church and served as missionary to Ukraine and Russia for six years.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Barbara “BJ” Dunlap Paturel, whom he married on July 26, 1986; two daughters, Jodi Martire and Julie Paturel, both of Sacramento, CA; a son, Patrick Paturel of Pollock Pines, CA; four grandchildren, Stephen Paturel, Rachel Paturel, Jacob Paturel, and Sarah Paturel; his father, Paul Paturel of Pineville; and a brother, David Paturel of San Marino, CA.

Memorial service celebrating Wayne’s life will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, March 21, 2011, at Western Avenue Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
